Three In One
Thanks to the always consistent and lovely people at Secretly Canadian/Jagjaguwar/Dead Oceans I was able to see, White Hinterland (Casey Dienel), Bon Iver, and Phosphorescent at the Holocene last night. Bon Iver and Phosphorescent had the sometimes difficult job of closing out Echolocations 5.4 and 5.5, while White Hinterland is doing the exciting job of opening the upcoming Echolocations 5.6: Problems.
All three sets were lovely. I was quite impressed by Casey's voice, It was strong and quiet and never off key. Bon Iver mesmerized the audience with their beautiful set, and Phosphorescent did well without his band who didn't make it to the show in time.
I'm excited about this upcoming disc, it has some real great songs on it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. We are still giving away our two latest CDs with a subscription this month, so hurry up before the month is over. And please go out and support this tour and/or buy their albums.
